Dr. Amin has been in the United States since 1996. Previously, he worked for five years in South Africa as a primary care physician before coming to the United States. He completed his Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Overlook Hospital in New Jersey, and finished his geriatric fellowship at Jersey Shore Medical Center where he was awarded the Best Fellow of the Year Award. He previously worked at Pitt County Memorial Hospital and was a clinical assistant professor at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also worked at East Carolina University, Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, NC. He lives in Greensboro with his wife and children.
Dr. Van Eyk is a native of Asheboro and has family and friends in the area. He worked as a breast cancer research coordinator before going to medical school at the East Carolina University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC. For several years, he also worked as a hospitalist for Physician East Urgent Care Clinic in Greenville. He lives in Asheboro with his wife and two children.
Brandi is a native of the triad and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winston Salem State University and Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Her nursing background includes emergency medicine, interventional radiology, and various other modalities. She is dedicated to the art of nursing and patient care, and will be the nurse practitioner in the Asheboro and Jamestown office locations. The mother of two amazing children and a fur-baby, she enjoys cooking, beach trips and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Christy grew up in Montgomery County. She obtained her BSN from Winston-Salem State University and her Master's Degree in Nursing from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She is a board certified Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Her nursing background is in Emergency Medicine and Cardiology. She spent 13 years in the Cardiology Unit before becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She currently sees patients at long-term care and assisted living facilities. She lives in Montgomery County with her husband, & two daughters, where she enjoys spending time with her family and attending church.
Kim is originally from Memphis, TN, moving to the Triad in 2005. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue University. Her nursing background includes high risk maternity/antepartum, labor and delivery, and triage nursing encompassing most specialties such as pediatrics, cardiology, urology, obstetrics/gynecology, endocrinology, and pulmonology. Kimcurrently cares for patients at long-term care and assisted living communities. She is passionate about serving her patients and families, ensuring they receive compassionate and quality care. She lives in Greensboro with her husband and enjoys traveling with her family.
